We joined 70+ other divers at Dive for a Cure in Old Welland Canal, Ontario to raise money for the Cancer Society. Part of the event was pumpkin carving...

We found clear spot to get started

Oh, that's funny! Great post! (I think I know some divers who would find that pumpkin terrifying . . . :) )
 
Nice job on the punkin! Did you get to see the end result of the rototilling the bottom method?
