36lb Pioneer wing: extra buoyancy over the 27lb Piorneer comes from those blue fabric expansion panels, and has the integrated STA rods between the camband slots. Great wing if you need the extra lift and hate STAs. Only downside is that it's a single thickness wing of coated nylon, so somewhat less durable--OTOH, it's easy to patch it reliably, unlike a plastic interior bladder.

36lb Pioneer wing:
Really? The eBay listing identifies it as an Explorer, and it looks a bit bigger than a 36 lb wing. I would have thought it was a (rather chronologically gifted) 55 lb. Explorer. But, appearances can be deceiving.

Halcyon's 55lb Explorer is (and as far as I know, always has been) a horseshoe doubles wing; this is clearly a donut singles wing with an integrated STA and looks identical to the Pioneer 36:

The same seller also has an Explorer (probably a 55) up...they look nothing alike. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Halcyon-Exp...942?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2580909cde

Ah, I think I understand, since there are two from the same seller. When I clicked on the link the OP listed, I saw a screen full of wings, and looked for one that said Explorer. I looked at one and you looked at, and were referring to the other. You are right, the image you showed was clearly not an Explorer, which is a 55 lb horeshoe doubles wing.
