Thanks. Pulled the trigger. I have never used a pull dump in all my years diving, and wouldn't start now. Is the replacement needed or can I just use the inflator hose like always?
Of course you can use the power inflator to dump gas.
It is only an option. The plain elbow is not that expensive.
Your decision.

Thanks for the link. I'm just wondering if there is some inherent safety or reliability issue with the pull dump version itself that would cause someone to change. If it works exactly the same I do not see why someone would, even at $11 (or $22 in my case)

A little bit late to this party, but I just received and OMS 32 wing and seeing it in person - it looks like a manhole cover. Seems unusually wide and perhaps tall. Is that a thing with these? I measured it and it is a few inches wider than a couple others I have around. But from the looks of it, it looks like it would on the "big and floppy" side.

Was all set to love this wing, but the blind dating may not work out.

So send it back and buy a few of these instead, with change

or set your OMS 32 manhole cover up with some gorgeous Faber skinny manifolded tanks like these

Very nice 232bar or 300bar for bulk air and smooth diving into skinny places
