I'm a Fish!
I am planning on starting to dive narrow D7 300bar tanks. With backplate and wing. I have found that I would need 18 kg(40’) lift capacity for the D7 set up, but struggling to find a wing suitable for so small doubles.
Originally I thought I should purchase a Halcyon Evolve 40’ but this is the same wing used for D12 and I expect there to be extra fabric and drag with the narrow D7 set up. Have anyone tried Halcyon Eclipse 40’ with narrow D7? The Eclipse is meant for single tanks but i don’t imagine the D7 to be much wider than a single 15L.

if you have the short crossbar without the isolation valve, then yes a standard 40 to 45lb wing designed for 2x12L is going to seem too wide. that would be the niche case where some of the wider single tank wings might be workable like a dive rite voyager or the old style apeks 35lb or a skinnier 35lb ccr wing.

@Havfrue Which wing did you end up with?
(we are also thinking about getting D7's)

I have a 37 pound single wing from Highland that I dive with my narrow 7L.
It is a very streamlined package.
I would take a picture for you, but they are sitting in a van in Florida.

Tecline recommends their 15 and 17kg singles wings for D7 Setups. Might be worth looking into...
