Halcyon Proteus 10w Head

They said they replaced the ballast and bulb and fixed the broken wires. They also said they pressure tested it. I would have assumed they pressure tested it originally, but it flooded out of the box. Oh well, I have my incredibly expensive, 3 times returned "new" light now. I think it is absurd to spend this much money on a new light and then have to pay to ship it back that many times. Although I do like the light, I'd suggest getting a DiveRite or Sartek.

While I was at EE a few weeks ago, I noticed the newest Proteus-6 lights don't use the banana connector anymore. Anyone know why they switched to the other style connector?

Obviously, if it floods, you need to send it in , but at least you can finish out a dive trip .
