Halcyon or Diverite manifold?

There can't be a whole lot of difference 'tween the innards; DR rebuild kits are supposed to work on H manifolds, or so says the gear guru that did the hull inspection on the Ark after Noah ran it aground.

What about Genesis manifolds? I am switching all of my tanks over to DIN valves and I really like the way my Genesis yokes are made, they appear to be much nicer than the others I've seen. I have only been diving doubles for a couple of years and I have been using a yoke manifold(I know, I know, eeek!). Anyways, I would be interesting in learning if Genesis makes manifolds and if their DIN valves are as nice as their yokes. Thanks guys.

The genesis manifolds I have seen are all slanted, which is not something I would use because 1.) it makes it easier for water to get into the valves/tank, 2.) the slant exposes your regs more - basically holding them up for something to smash into 3.) they just plain look stupid.

I have an Sea elite manifold that I like a lot, but recently I needed a new manifold for a set of hp tanks (7/8 neck not 3/4) so I went with a thermo - it seems pretty solid.

I have a Thermo, a DR and a Sea Elite on the way. I had a SE on the AL 80s that I used to have. I really prefer the SE and the fact that it costs less is just a bonus. You can get the 200 bar ones on e-bay for under $105 regularly. I have had them all apart and I don't see any real useful differences except for knobs and how many turns on/off. On both of these issues the SE is the best.

Yes, Jonnythan, this means I now have three sets of doubles - Faber M72s, PST x7-80s, and Faber HP 100s .

BTW, does anyone one if getting service kits and manuals is easy for this manifold?

Diver's Supply sells rebuild kits. It's only a matter of ordering one from them -- anyone can.

The new DR manifolds are different from the ones that were essentially similar to the H and SE. The burst disk assembly is now recessed and a few other differences.
