I just asked my local H dealer and it really is a 1.5 x 7.8 mm O-ring. They will have it in stock by next month. Meanwhile, I can get my hands on a few 1.5 x 7.5 mm and 1.5 x 8 mm o-rings. Maybe I'll try those first.

1.5mm x 7.8mm is nothing more than the metric measurements for 011.

011 oring is nominally 5/16 Id x 1/16 cross section.

1mm = .0394"

1.5 x .0394 = .059" that's effectively 1/16"

7.8 x .0394 = .307" that's effectively 5/16"

Tolerances on orings are pretty loose.

I just mic'd 1/2 dozen male qd nipples. .309-.311"

I seriously doubt there is a "Euro" QD nipple that is 7.8mm (.307")
