I mean, really anywhere. You just have no protection as the buyer. The seller can not ship and you're screwed. That said. I have bought from people on here with friend and family and will again. Because they have proven themselves and I'm not worried.

Just give you evidence that they are reliable. That said, the person that got me had good history and I thought I was good. In reality, I think someone hacked the profile and was using that. So the original owner of the account was probably a solid seller, but then was hacked.

Yep, that's what I've done as a buyer in the past.

As I understand it, now PayPal reports "income" to the IRS for goods and services. That is why some people want it. Which I get, but im done with it then. At least for people I don't know on here.

I'm guessing this buyer won't chime in because they have bailed cause they were called out.

If that's the seller's concern, he can claim a cost basis greater than the amount which he sold it for, i.e., MSRP, and claim a capitol loss. Lol.

It's sad that so many people want to criticize and trash me when I'm just trying to sell some equipment. As written in the ad, I prefer to do f2f so everyone is welcome to pick them up themselves.
