For lots of sharks, check out Layang Layang - Malaysia. Good chances to see big schools of hammerheads. Lots of reef sharks and also other species. After March would be better time to do Layang2

I agree with tzeyap. I spent a week diving in Layang Layang last June and it was an absolute blast! I managed to catch schooling hammerheads on every morning dive (where we'll be swimming out into the blue at abt 30+m), and white / black-tip reef sharks on all my other dives. I remember one afternoon dive where my dive group ran into a school of devil rays (abt 20+ of them). AMAZING!!!
