Does anybody know the status of the GUE Open Water course, and in particular the status of "Submerged", the textbook for the class?
They have a topic on the course at the next GUE conference, they talked about it last year and I've been hearing that it was going to be available, "in the next few months" for 5 years now. It's vaporware as far as I am concerned.

I had a chit chat back in Jan with JJ about this. He went into some detail in terms of what he envisoined for the class, but there was some serious issue of not stepping on the toes of the other GUE curriculum, the logistics of the proposed lenght of the class, the costs, etc.
Given what I heard, I don't think it's feasible. I haven't talked to him again about it, but if he's around Sunday I might. I know some people looking for OW classes that this would certainly benefit.
