JeffG:
Has to be. The requirements don't seem right.

Its probably a cut and paste job from their SSI classes

Edit: It is a cut and paste thing

Hmmm ... interesting.

The link that points to is the class I just finished teaching yesterday (NAUI).

I'll contact Mark tomorrow and see if we can clarify what's posted on the Web site.

... Bob (Grateful Diver)

I talked to Mark before he left. The January class is not GUE. It was supposed to be, but 5th D is not quite ready to teach it yet. I do believe Steve White is teaching the January class though (under SSI), so it should still be a GREAT class

The Nitrox deal is sweet

Ben_ca:
Must be a typo

OT: NITROX CLUB CARD ONE YEAR UNLIMITED FILLS of 32% $350.00 You guys are lucky... I know I can get my money's worth out of that one!
You pay for nitrox???? Thats gotta suck

TSandM:
Their January calendar includes a GUE Open Water class! Description is HERE.

...

I have a hard time believing I'm reading this right.

Hmm RIR (reading it right). Wow this has been talked about for a long time, it was nearly promised for summer of 2003 which didn't happen. Cool it's finally here.

Oops caught me not having read the entire thread, I quoted and posted. So this means still no GUE OW course then right?

edit ... NM, is the thread info quoted from GUE themselves?

second edit ... yup, 1200 bucks ... wow, and lookie at all that's covered. Are there any threads of feedback from divers who've taken the class, I'd be especially interested in the outcome for a diver who never dove before and took this as their intro to scuba diving.
