So, even if I don't have a scooter, am I worthy to do a few deco dives with?

yeah, of course we will..........if you can swim over from the other boat,non-scooter crew, and join us......we would love to have you!!!!!!.. <laughing> tease tease.

What do you mean? I'll already be hanging off your lower band getting a free ride.

Ed & Chris... you guys taking C1 before or after CQ?

I'm also thinking of maybe doing some extending bottom deco time dives in the 100' range if anyone is game.

Trying to schedule it before. We'll see.

"lower band"? You mean crotch strap, don't ya? :)

Dude, I certainly hope you'd notice if I grabbed onto the crotch strap. I literally mean the lower band of your doubles, nice place to sneak into from high and behind for a free ride. Got a ride about a third of the way down the slough at Ginnie last weekend, only my poor (oblivous) buddy was kicking.... sucker!

mer, remind me never to let you behind me.

Well, we ended up moving our Cave 1 class a week later, which rules out making it to GC for this. I guess I'll just have to wait for the next one -- 2010?

Or just do like Ed at last year's CQ and tie on with some cave line from a spool and ride the person like a scooter for a while :)
