Hello All,

A friend of mine decided it would be a good idea to have me rebuild his old regulator. It is an Italian made GSD S-300 ...I looked through all the usual sites (frog kick etc) and I can not find any manuals or parts break down for it. So far the only thing I have even attempted is to remove the usual external parts and clean them up and replace the o-rings. The IP climbs without stopping, I found the adjustment for it, but even at the lowest setting the IP still runs away; therefore I will have to get to the HP hard and soft seats but I would prefer to open it up with a book in hand.....call me a coward...see if I care.

The second stage free flows when supplied with only 120 psi from one of my trusty first stages. The second stage is a very odd animal, I do not even know how to get into it. Before it has an accident, please chime in with useful information. (I know the word eBay already :no)

If any of you knows of a regulator that is very similar or have access to manual that would be of use please enlighten me.

Hat in hand....couv

Just take it totally apart, throw all the parts in a bucket, and leave it there for a month. Then it will be easy to get it back together.

That sounds like a good idea; but should I include parts left over part from other regulators in the same bucket?
