What’s up for Monday night?
I am assuming there will be fireworks in front of the municipal building (city hall). Anyone know of any other activities?

It kinda sucks that we can't go to Prima to watch them anymore. There is a parade Tuesday.

I kinda feel guilty for not supporting them. Last year I was standing down in the crowd for my first Grito de Dolores when the torrential deluge came on about 10:30 PM, at some point I raised my water soaked head and looked up at Prima’s. I told myself ‘next year I will do this a little smarter and go up there’. In August I looked up on the way past and it was boarded over and closed and thought : 'Well, shiiiit'.

Yea, gonna be condos. They are opening again on 10th north of the Plaza, I believe, if they are not open.

We stayed at El Cantil at the end of May and heard from the waiters that it was going to close due to them converting the space to condos. Our waiter said he had been working there for 15 years. It was really convenient to go there for breakfast each day which was included in the condo rental. We also had dinner there one night and it was good. Nice view as well.
