Grenada

I am looking to go to Grenada for 7-10 days in May. I would be grateful for any advice on which dive operator to use, whether or not to hire a car, and how safe is it for a lone female to get around? Is it worth going over to Carriacou for a couple of days? I am likely to be staying at either the Rex Grenadian or the Flamboyant Hotel, both of which have in-house dive operators.

PM me if you haven't already left for your trip. I used to live there and have lots of information about the island. I also know owners of both of the dive store at the Flamboyant and the Rex Grenadian.
