G'day,

I was surfing along the web and came across this excellent site.

My name is Alfred and I'm from Sydney, Australia.

Have been diving since 1982 and absolutely love it.

Look forward to spending more time on this excellent board.

Welcome to the board, I hope you enjoy your time here, there is much to learn and many things to share I'm sure with such a history of diving as you said you have.

Welcome, and enjoy your time here during your surface interval.

Hi Alfred,
Nice to meet you. I'm new here as well as new to diving. I found these boards last week and have barely surfaced for air :) There is a tremendous amount of information here. With your experience I am sure you will be a welcome contributor!

Hello Alfred,

I'm hoping to travel to Sydney in August or September, and to do some diving while I'm there. Perhaps we'll be able to dive together. I need someone to tell where the good spots are!

Hello Alfred,

After getting my OW my first dive was in Botany Bay. It was also a shark dive. We saw a lot of Sand Tiger (aka grey nurse to you.) It was a great first dive. Too bad I got sea sick and skip the 2nd dive.....

From across the ditch. Your right, it's a great site. Not to many of us from down here on the board, but we more than make up for it with sparkling personalities. By the way, kiss the Bledisloe and the Webb Ellis good bye. Polish them up for us will you? They need to look their best when we reinstate them in the cupboard that they are most used to being in....heheheh.
Ozy ozy ozy, cry cry cry.........
Cheers Big Ears,
The Gasman
