Hi All,

This is my first posting, in fact I think it is my first posting on a message board since the old BBS days.

I live and work in Bangkok Thailand. My real job is in computers but I am also a part time diver and have my PADI Tec-Rec Instructor rating. I get to hang around with some very talented divers with thousands of dives and hundreds of Trimix dives which makes me feel like the baby of the group.

If anyone wants to know about diving in Thailand you can drop me a line.

Cheers,
James.

Welcome to SB. I had the pleasure of spending a month in Thailand three years ago and enjoyed the diving there. Look forward to your contributions to this board.

October is the end of the Ko Tao season and just before the start of the Phuket season (the large island near Phi Phi).

You will probably be able to dive both locations but I'd check the weather first. November is when the Similan island live-a-board boats start up and this is the best diving in Thailand IMHO.
