The crews of No Pressure and Popeye Maru ventured to the south side of Palos Verdes in search of new and/or uncommon nudibranchs. We've been finding quite a few in the past month and were looking forward to a nice weekend of diving. The ocean had other plans.
We dropped through dark green water that barely gave way on the bottom. Surge was strong throughout each dive making photography challenging. I managed only six photos for the day.
Visibility was poor with 53-54° on each dive.

Conditions here on the island had declined as well. Had 61 F as my min temp at 100 fsw in the die park, a drop of 4-5 degrees from last weekend. Poor vis below about 60 fsw. At least it will make what little kelp is present happier!
