Former Bangor doctor?s body found in Green Lake ? Hancock ? Bangor Daily News ? BDN Maine
ELLSWORTH, Maine — The body of a former Bangor radiologist was found early Friday morning in Green Lake, according to the Maine Warden Service.
Ellsworth police received a call around 11:40 p.m. Thursday that Frank Mroz, 66, of Manchester, N.H., had not returned from a dive in Green Lake, warden service Cpl. John MacDonald said Friday in a written statement.
Mroz, an experienced underwater diver who was using scuba gear, had indicated to a relative that he was going to fix a submerged mooring in front of a camp. He was last seen by his wife diving in front of the camp.
According to the statement, Mroz was found deceased in Green Lake by Ellsworth police approximately 30 feet from shore shortly after midnight.
