The rope was 1 1/2 inch thick and was hooked inside her mouth. We attempted to remove it but she was not cooperating and swam away : (Has the shark a hook in her mouth? It seems a long line trailing off her opposite side. At first I thought she was just swimming along your line but later that appeared not to be the case.
Karim, maybe that's why she was hanging with you. in hopes you could free her as was done for the dolphin at the manta site in Hawaii.
I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw this video. I mean, how often do great whites happen upon divers and "hang out" with them like that? It sounds silly to say it, but I have to admit I was thinking it...
I presume you developed a suitable procedure for cleaning your suits afterward?
