Scott...the cross-road island is paved. The road that voids the car insurance is the road that they go 4-wheeling on...or at least used to. I'm not sure if that tour still runs at all.

ya it was unpaved. That must be it.

Someone (FairyBasslet) linked this on another board, so I wanted to share it here. Thanks Ellen! The article is below, but if you want to read it from it's original source, here is the link: http://northjersey.com/page.php?qstr=eXJpcnk3ZjcxN2Y3dnFlZUVFeXk3JmZnYmVsN2Y3dnFlZUVFeXk2OTk0NTMx

CHICAGO TRIBUNE

Good article. The only issue that I will take with it is the assertion that the damage to the shallow reefs wrought by Wilma was like that done by Gilbert. Gilbert packed a wallop, that's for sure, but it moved through the region fairly quickly, whereas Wilma stalled over the island and dragged its southern eyewall up the whole western shore. The damage to the reefs by Gilbert was not nearly as extensive.

Hopefully an article like this, printed in the Chicago Tribune, will help get the message out. Thanks for the good news....Sue Sue

Great article Christi. Thanks for posting it. I hope it brings you folks some business. I'll be back in May for sure and probably before then as well.
