WOW! Great weather, great water, great company - who could ask for more? With such a near perfect day I was amazed that we were almost the only divers at Butterfly House today. We had 30+ foot vis, and very little swell and surge. The only weirdness was a freak thunderstorm that crossed the horizon, but didn't seem to be a threat as it was clearly going to be past us by the time we resurfaced.

Thanks Michael and Leila for a great dive day. The pics are here:

Awesome pictures! Makes me want to give diving there a shot. I just hope I can kick this ear infection by next week.

Nice pics Devin! I really want to try that spot sometime too.

Wow those are some EPIC pictures you got there. How was the trek down into the water? Is it easy to enter to the water there? I've always wanted to dive there.

great pics. I dive there all the time and don't see this much, maybe i ought to slow down.

Thanks!
The trek down is pretty easy if you don't try to shortcut the path. Entry and exit are generally VERY easy, but there's always lots of kelp to crawl through. Going up is quite rigorous, but if you dive nitrox you can suck some extra oxygen when you get to the top.
