Me too, had the same experience. About 1-2 inches of vis. I saw this big blacking thing comming at me and realized it was the bottom after doing a face plant into the mud. :)


Had the same experience at lake Grapevine and at Ray Hubbard.

The reason that we keep going back to CSSP, Murray, Travis, (PK occasionally), Blue Lagoon, etc. is because that's about as good as it is going to get in the local area.
 
Debra, you dove Joe Pool? Seriously? I mean, how desperate were you to go diving that day? I am impressed though!

Desperate, young and foolish. Troy and I had just started, maybe had 50 or so dives under our belt when we went out there. We dove around the public beach, looking for stuff. We found a few pairs of sunglasses, at least one pair of Ray Bans that we sold on Ebay for $60.00. That was years ago. It was just one of those things you do. This year we plan on taking the boat out to PK, anchoring and doing some diving.
