Hi all...I'd just like to say thanks to all who posted on here and made my trip fantastic. A few things I noticed that were not initially told to me, or that I didn't have a chance to read.
1. It's a bigger Island then I had thought. To take the one road from 7 mile beach to Rums point took over an hour with occasional stops.
2. The east end is barren. There isn't anything out there but ocean and rocks.
3. Should have spent at least one day at Rums point. If you are staying at 7 mile, the Hyatt has a ferrry that can take you there.
4. Drive along the coast...it's beautiful.
5. The turtle farm, even though I knew what it was...was a blast.
6. At stingray city...go early in the day when the rays are hungry. Also, when they tell you to keep the squid in your hand and not rub it on you...they are not kidding. We saw a lady who's arm looked like the Incredible Hulk grabbed her, a bloody bruise about 6 inches long...from a Ray that must have smelled squid and sucked on to her.
7. Definetly plan your trips in town when there are not cruise ships. One of the great advisors on this board has a link with the port schedule. It is not crowded at 7 mile right now...but downtown is very crowded with cruise ships.
8. We dove 3 days with Fisheye. I can't say enough about this group. Great folks..great DM's...and the help there was always smiling and helpful.

Highlight "story"...apparently an uncertified diver and one of the local yahoo's went diving on the wall....the guages said they peaked at 240. Upon ascending...she passed out, probably narced, at 100ft and threw up. The guy, who was prob drunk as well, found one of the Fisheye boats and they administered Oxygen and got her to the chamber. In addition to this story on the boat...our waiter was the one that found two bc's floating...fully inflated. Small world..smaller Island.
More to follow...
