got the bikes out today!

this probably isn't that big a deal for any of you in warmer climes but for those of us in minnesota it is the equivalent of a rite of passage: we rode our motorcycles for the first time this year. a couple of things to note: 1) efi is awesome. the bikes started and ran flawlessly. 2) premium gas is going to cost us an arm and a leg this summer. we will also not be diswayed from our goal of getting our open water certification! 3) having 2 ultras and buying 2 of everything (one for each bike) is expensive but well worth it on a day like today.

I'm waiting for April 1st but with days like today it's hard to wait. I just don't want to put insurance on it then have it sit when the March snow flies!
