No. Acetaminophen is not antiinflammatory.

I don't understand why people use it. It's indicated for pain and fever only, nothing else, and not very effective on either.

The data says, pretty convincingly, that's quite effective for both.

Ibuprofin (Advil) is an anti-inflammatory and can help for this, I find it does. Not Acetaminophen (Tylenol)

Neti pot also really helps with congestion. I use the sinus rinse bottle as I find it easier to use than Neti pot.
