i took my suit for a first try-out today: 8 C water , 30 minutes ...

takes some getting used to, this drysuit ... boots are too big for my liking, maybe i should tighten the fin-straps a little

the side-press inflator works nicely, as does the dump valve ... no problems there ... buoyancy wasnt a prob either, thanks to all the advice in this forum

i stayed absolutely dry, and warm too ...

i could get used to this :D

Is this your first drysuit?

I was wondering how one of the Spitzenbergs would hold up. It looks like a really nice suit. But I haven't seen one in person. Just on the net.

Wondering if it's tough enough to use Wreck diving. Or just Recreational Diving...

its my first drysuit in 20 years ... used to dive a viking rubber/canvas suit long, long ago

it will be some time before the spitzbergen sees any wrecks tho, so i cant really help you there ...

the material feels very sturdy, and i especially like the neoprene covers for wrist and neck seals ... these provide extra insulation and could protect the seals from sharp objects imho
