Does anybody ever click on the Google ads, here or on any other site for that matter?

I've become so accustomed to them, that I hardly ever notice them when they are somewhere on a site. More so because they are often coloured in the style of the website, so that they don't attract any attention (which is good, I hate flashing banners).

Please take the time to vote on this one: Do you ever click on a Google ad?
("ever" being: not just once or twice to have seen it, but on a regular basis)

Cheers,
Gurt

I've only use them once or twice.. Like you said they're unobtrusive so they don't bother me. If they were flash banners I would never click on them... I hate those, almost as much as spam mail.. but lets not go there..

now you made me notice them I had to click one...

Tresj2,
Given our daily ad stats I would say a lot of people are not partaking in your poll. While I haven't tracked it, I imagine regular users have a far lower click thru rate then new users or guests. Obviously if you see the same ads over and over you are far less likely to click on theme. However, Google ads are contextual meaning they target the exact keywords on a particular page which means they can be extreme dynamic and well suited to a particular page. The idea isn't that you click the ads every day or for fun but that from time to time you see something you are truly interested in and click to learn more or even purchase a product.

Hadn't notice them. Reached the point that I ignore everything but what I want to see. Pop ups don't even phase me.
