Good spot for family dives with beginner divers?

With a child that young and you being new as well, I'd be inclined to go case your local diveshops and ask what trips they are planning that would be appropriate, and only ones that have a shop rep going on the trip. But I tend to be conservative on first outtings, wanting to know that someones been there before and knows the hidden pitfalls. YMMV

The water temperature in Key Largo was between 75-77 last Thanksgiving while I was there. There were a couple of morning where the water was much warmer than the air and I froze during my SI.
