Hal Watts came into my life after he tested the Foil Force fin over the other "Split fin designs." Afterward, he became a fan and sold many Force Fins in their store. I will miss his friendship and support.

It is especially important at this time of year to remember those we miss dearly. Jack and Captain Don were on my list of good people. I have a bundle of papers Captain Don gave me on his reefing history.

MAGNIFICENT!

Down at Dive N Surf in Redondo Beach, California. Robbie Meistrell and I met in 1968. I Gave Force Fin the first logo foot cap for their museum. Some great news is

coming.

I grew up with fantastic artists, with whom my father was friends. Gordon Wagner was tossed from a roller coaster ride into the Redondo Beach bathhouse and survived. He shared his stories of diving around the old pier pilings running out into the Submarine Canyon.

Another friend of our Father was Howard Ball. I visited his studio many times while he built the Mammoths for the Rancho La Brea Tar pits. Howard was one of the tallest people I have ever met. Years later I would be hand shaping swim fins in my Santa Barbara funk zone shop.

Talk about a special group of friends. Sadly we lost Phil and Berry. Never forget the fun we all had diving together. Miss diving. Almost 15 years now without getting wet. Things changed in diving from when I started in 1966. Instructor Robert Meistrell, # 1

Finally a film transfer from the early 1970s. You can watch me swimming around in Jet Fins. Got some of the first pairs from Dive N Surf. What a team we had filming with 16mm and super 8mm camera designs I developed for our projects. Enjoy, it's

funky, but it's our history.
