Diverite Plus 299 at diveriteexpress.com or Suunto Vyper. Suunto gekko is nice but can't download and it has no backlight, the vyper is ut much more. Both can be set from conservative to mid range. Either way diverite and suunto are great!

If you can still find an Aeris Atmos 2 you can't go wrong. I have two a console and a backup wrist model

Please stop spreading this falsity. You CAN download the Gekko! Just search here on SB for how. Also, the backlight is on NO use. If it's dark enough to require, you'll already have a dive light, in which case it's both easier to simply use your dive light to illuminate the computer, and the Gekko will then glow for 5-10 minutes, requiring no further action. That said, I dive a Vyper, but that's for gauge mode, which the Gekko does not have. If you do not need gauge mode, there really is no reason to prefer the Vyper over the Gekko; save your money.

I own 2 Aeris Atmos 2s. They rock for the price. One is a wrist model and one is in a console. The console model is my back up.

I believe that Aeris is phasing out the Atmos 2, thus the low price. They are bringing in the XR-2 to take its place.

ScubaToys still has the Atmos 2 in console with knife for 299.95. A deal in anybodies book. They ship fast and sometime grant a 10 percent discount for scubaboard members who ask.
