For all us east coast Bonaire fans, getting to Bonaire is going to get a lot easier soon.
The details are not complete but here is what I do know. This information comes from a very reliable source.

The flights will leave from either FLL or MIA, the exact airport is still in being worked out, best price wins. It is definitely going to be a Sat-Sat flight.

Most of the resorts on Bonaire will have access to this flight. You will be able to request airlift from your resort and they can contact the Bonaire Airlift Consortium to get the tickets for your or you can go ahead and get them yourselves. It is up to each individual resort to determine if they want to add airlift into the package, but ALL resorts have the ability to get tickets for you. This is an ISLAND WIDE effort, no one is excluded.
Plans are for a direct website where you will be able to book tickets. They will be e-tickets.

Expect the BIG posting and press releases, etc with complete details the 29th of August or so.

This news has my PBD flaring up big time.
Would anyone interested in a ScubaBoard Bonaire meet and greet in Jan or Feb 06??

Great news on the flight, can't wait for more details.

If i didn't have plans to go to Hawaii i would go. Next jan or feb i was looking at going there again.

Herman,

That is WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!

I just booked my 2 week trip for Nov. this week and I am dreading the long flight with AA out of Atlanta. The last two trips have been with AJ but, they are too unstable to trust at this moment.

Thanks for the happy news!

Great news for us Bonaire fans! :D
