Good Multi Gas Computer?

For all practical purposes, the console has hit its wall... With integrated air, you can't do a reg check and watch for the needle to fall. A console failure hit me at 90 feet once, and was left to look onto a buddy's depth guage, but rather than trust that, I just signaled the good ol' thumb and crawled up at what was probably a 15' per minute ascent for safety purposes (thumbed the dive about 4 minutes in, no deco to worry about.) All in all, its time to lighten up the gear and get a nice SPG and wrist mount.

Going back to the original question of a good multigas computer, I will have to put my word in for the VR-3. Yes, it is absolutely expensive, but if you want a good, intuitive, multi gas computer, the VR-3 will fill the bill. Gas switching is simple and the ascent indicators are about stupid proof. You can go one step further and get it with the VPM algorithims as well.
