Does anyone know if this compressor is good for breathing gas or just filling paintball tanks? The owner doesn’t know too much about it. Can it be converted for scuba tanks? Any input would be appreciated.

Compressor is fine, filter cartridge will probably need to be replaced with a filter designed for breathing air but the filter tower itself looks fine.

Yep, change the filter cartridge in the P0/P21 housing to a triplex model for breathing air, and life should be good. It may have run a different oil since t wasn't making breathing air, but if that is so, a couple runs and flushes should make it acceptable. The hoses may have contamination as they weren't necessarily protected from hydrocarbon contamination as paintball guns don't care.

The compressor is nice, but research the P0 filter cartridge. It is miserably small, and has a short life. At $40+ a pop for cartridges, it is a PITA. An hour of run time and half a dozen tanks have the cartridge at less than 50% service life remaining according to the schedule and tracking Bauer provides for monitoring filter life.

I have gone to a different and larger filter tower on my Oceanus.

They’re selling for $1900 but they said they’d take $1500, what do you think??
