Didn't know whether this belongs in California or this forum. Apologies if I chose poorly.

I'm looking for a book or books to id California coastal fish and critters. I'd like to find something with good pictures and a LOT of different fish/critters.

And how about a nudibranch ID book? My last dive I saw literally hundreds of nudis (it's breedin time apparently). :07:

Thanks for any ideas,

Gregg

Milton Love's book is good and funny. Add to the list Humann's "Coastal Fish Identification: California to Alaska." For others check out the Sea Challengers web site for a wide range of guides to inverts and fish.
