some of the folks who look for gold with dredges and sucking machinery really screw up the rivers for folks downstream and critters throughout the stream. Lets treat the land gently and we can live (and dive) here for a long time.
 
Just dropped the moola for a 36" hand sluice - I'll give it a try in a few weekends time.

Dredging equipment is not permitted where I prospect because of the environmental impacts.
 
I read a story some place that stated that gold has been found in all of the States in America. I did a search of my state just in case I might be sitting on a gold mine--so to speak.
