There is a bar in the club house and the prices are not out of line!

You will be able to drink in the evenings for less than a local bar (I would bet)!

DD

I agree, we usually had a beer in the evenings after diving while we sat at the Clubhouse reviewing Ron's photos, e-mailed home, etc. They run a tab for your room and you pay at the end of week. :D It's a nice little gathering place for everyone and you don't want to be sitting in your room alone drinking adult beverages!

I don't know what the clubhouse at CCV looks like but I've never stayed at any Roatan resort and sat inside. We always sit on a deck or dock and listen to the evening surf while we drink our Salva. Reef House for instance has a deck over the water and the breeze keeps the bugs away and wifi is available out there. The beer is very cheap and you get them yourself as you feel like having one. Everyone sits outside and trades stories for the day and reviews each others photos.

I assume CCV being so popular has similar facilities.

a couple of shots of the bar/clubhouse area...it also extends outside on a covered deck area...

I doubt the bus stops but if you can, get to the beer distributor. Beer is well under a dollar for a case and I can guarantee you can't beat that price anywhere.

That's a bet I'd win...they're free at Fantasy Island :D:D:D

there are indoor areas, a screened in patio area, an open deck area, and a topside deck area, all overlooking the water. :D

CCV "clubhouse" looks fantastic. Thanks for the pics. I'd like to try that place but I'm such a bargain hunter, it always seems to be higher priced than many places. I may just try one of there over the water places one day anyway.

Beer is never free - just included in the price of the package but the package prices I've seen for Fantasy are really low but I don't know if those include beer or not. If so, what a bargain - at least for heavy drinkers.

I also hope it was obvious that I meant to say beer was under a $1.00 each when purchased by the case. Actually I think it may be closer to $.75 each but free is always better.

I have posted this before and will again.

CCV is my daughters favorite dive location and I agree that is is an awesome dive vacation!

There is always the gazebo to relax. The club house pictures were taken from the gazebo, which you can see on the Web Cam.
