It looks like I missed the boat to stay at the Cape Ann marina next weekend ( May 14-16) for DUI Dog Days.

Any suggestions on reasonable alternatives in the area?

Cape Ann Motor Inn. Nothing too fancy and can be noisy during vacations with families and such.

Gloucester Motels, Gloucester Hotels, Gloucester Massachusetts Hotels, Gloucester MA Hotels, Cape Ann Hotels, Cape Ann Motor Inn, Long Beach Hotels

They allow dogs too.

I have stayed here before. Samarkand Guesthouse in Gloucester, MA The prices are very resonable and the service is great. You can see Good harbor beach from the windows in most of the rooms.

Rockport Inn and Suites is very nice (right on 127 in Rockport) with reasonable rates. Stayed there this past weekend during a full weekend of diving. It's close to Back Beach if you want to get a dive in there, that weekend too
