So this just happened to me 3 hours ago.
I just got hired at the local liquor store and it has been fun working there. Earlier on two girls came in and I asked them to show me their ID, cuz they looked young but they were 24, and I commented that they looked like they are 18-19. They were so happy and started joking around with me. An hour later two other girls come in and I asked to see their ID, they looked like 17 but they were 19. Man, were they pissed..... I'll never understand girls...not only are they different individually, it seems like each age group acts differently as well.

Be aware all states send in "underage buyers" to see if you catch them.

Just say thank god you didn't work at a movie theater and give a 40 yr old women the Senior discount

Makes me wonder why I bother going to university...they never teach me things like this. Knowing this piece of info could potentially save my life.

Yeah. I made that mistake about asking a co-worker who I "thought" was pregnant and wasn't. boy did I ever get an evil death glare.



I remember when I was in college and right after, girls under the age of 21 that we didn't know would come up to us outside of a beer/liquour store and try to get us to buy for them. I didn't mind buying for girls I knew, but wouldn't for ones we didn't know. Reason is that the cops would sit across the street hidden and watch for this. They busted a friend of mine and arrested him for it. The girls who wanted the alcohol got away with the jerk cop telling them "not to do this again" while he went to jail. Needless to say he spent the night in jail while they didn't even make any effort to bail him out.

So the only reason the girls that were 19 and underage got mad at you was they were spoiled little brats who got pissed because you didn't sell to them underage. If it was a "sting" operation by the cops, you would have gone to jail. So don't let them bother you, as you didn't get arrested for them.
