I am going back to Bali in late September and have booked a 5-day, 18-dive package with Padang Bai Beach Resort. One of the dives that I am hoping to do is Gili Biaha near Candidasa. That location has 2 dive sites Biaha Slope and Shark Cave and I have some questions to those who have dived here, please.

  • Is it practically possible to do both sites in one dive without rushing?
  • The week I am there is just after full moon. Will this make Shark Cave part of the dive difficult? If so, what conditions can I expect?
  • Which is the best time of the day to dive the site(s)? I have heard Shark Cave can be difficult in the afternoons around full and new moon.

Thanks in anticipation.
