Thanks for all the clarifications.... I'm feeling more educated about directions, day passes vs parking passes, bulls, steers, camping, peer pressure! Wow!

Just think of all the things I will learn this weekend! :D

Just remember that what you learn at a Meet & Greet must not be used for ill gotten gains outside of the Meet & Greet. As Yoda used to say, "Learn you shall!"

You mean like some of the many uses for a rubber band???

It's possible, although Polly has not posted that she may be in attendanc and we know that Ted is touring Florida. Possibly for an extended time since GM has decided to strike.

One never knows what types of interesting things may be brought to the fire.

There has been NO policy change; however, Mike has to start enforcing the current policy because many are abusing the current policy.

Current policy: Free parking out in the main lot after dropping off equipment on
the staging tables on the docks, not at a campsite.

$4.00 per vehicle parking fee to use a campsite for the day.
$8.00 per person to camp overnight.

The abuse: 1. Choosing free parking, then leaving vehicle at a campsite anyways.
2. Choosing free parking, then using a campsite for a staging area.
(divers are to leave equipment on staging tables on the docks: if
you want to use a campsite with or without vehicle--$4.00 fee.)
3. One person pays for a campsite for the day, and then several
free parking divers use that site as a staging area. (against policy)
Some instructors are the biggest abusers on this policy. They will
load students' equipment into their trucks, trailers and there may be
8-15 free parkers using a campsite or two or three--According to current policy, free parking divers must use staging tables on the docks.

Denny, I won't be there but I do have a suggestion if you would pass it on to Mike.

Number the camp sights and sell a daily parking pass to display in the windshield of each vehicle for each camp sight. The camp sight number should be on the pass. (this will also help identify the "speeders") First come first serve for picking your camp sight.

Polly moved to the East coast. She told us the Spring M&G might be her last one. I'm glad for her but sure will miss her.

As for Ted, I wonder if he walked the picket line under water? The UAW / GM reached an agreement so he's probably back on layoff for now.

hmmm.... what / who will be the entertainment around the fire this year?

Paula

ahhh... I am now a definite Yes for the weekend. Yippee! I believe Brett / compression nut is as well.

Adam G. isn't sure if he'll be there but said he'd get a CD of the Tobe pictures and my small blue Dive Rite line reel to me somehow. I'm guessing that means he'll see some of you at Ber's class tonight. I'm still missing a long orange extension cord from the Tobe trip and hope Brian W. has it.

Paula

Hopefully somebody will provide the entertainment. I am way to shy to have to be in that position.

Paula- I thought you were providing the entertainment. LOL! Your stories and Steve's jokes should provide plenty of laughter!

I thought I was the "Dairy Farm" expert until I read the responses. Guess that was one thing we didn't hit upon! LOL
