Yeah Mike, it was on the 23rd if I recall correctly. The ambulance was there, and I think they took the diver in as a precaution. I'm not sure what happened for sure.

I was still on my morning coffee when all the noise started.

That would make it 3 this year, so far.

Actually the event that DD describes happened on 5/29.
My buddy and I (unaware of the events topside) surfaced off the dock where the EMS crews were taking the first diver (on a backboard) up to the ambulance.

There's nothing else that I can really add here other than to say that the staff at Gilboa, the EMS crews, the local sheriff department, the helicopter flight crew etc. as a team did a great job in handling the emergency.

No fins, that's a separate issue, (as per MikeF's comment before mine) I commented on the week before, that I was there, so that makes 3 incidents this year. I was also reading the TDS thread on this as well, which probably added to the confusion for you. It's rather lengthy and pretty good over there, you should go and take a look.

(Of course it's off on a tangent, but what thread EVER stays on topic :-)

Actually Steve I do understand that this thread broke into discussions about two different incidents at Gilboa. Originally Mike asks about the incident on 5/29 and then there were also questions and responses about the incident from the weekend of 5/22 & 23. All I was saying in my post is that the incident that DD wrote about (and I commented on) occured on 5/29.
