my instructor & his so are moving to utila this month. i'd like to get him something, since i was gonna pay for my aow with a nice dinner & drinks but he's moving sooner than he thought and i won't have a chance. i thought of a walmart or whatever card here so they could get what they needed before they left, but then they'd just have to pack it. what gift certificates, if any, would be redeemable? would a phone card be a good idea? what else can y'all who live there come up with?

Give 'em some 100 per cent DEET in the small pump bottles (Academy) They can carry it on the plane and they'll need it sooner than later. Rainy season comin' on down there. Or, they can get the green spray on right across the street at Rose Hardware. Right, Stevo??

We're doing great. I'm in San Antonio, Texas at the moment. Will be here for a week or so on business (you know). Diving wise, I'll be DM ing a three day Flower Gardens trip the weekend of 16th, following week four days in Florida panhandle diving and week of December 3rd seven days in Cozumel. We're looking at Utila again after the first of the year. Please give your mother a hug for Ann and I.
