I see no reason to shell out beaucoup bucks for drysuit boots. Is there anything better for rockboots on the cheap than chuck taylors?

If those work for you, go for it. Wal-Mart sell some cheap knock offs. Unfortunately, the Chucks didn't work for me, they were too narrow. The DUI boots allowed a nice fit over my drysuit socks, my thick wool socks, and my inner polypro liner. Maybe things will be better for you.
What's the matter with CTs? I've been using them for over two years. They last real well in the water. They just look dorky.

Someone here or at TDS posted their chuck taylor's with flames painted on the side. Definitely on the lookout for those...
