I just got my certification so I am new to all this. I have some anxiety about being under there, but I am sure it will be fine once I get a few dives under my belt.

I am going to Belize in December, staying at Hopkins Village at Tipple Tree Beya. Has anyone ever heard of this place? I am really looking forward to it.

hello & welcome...i haven't heard of hopkins village but i dove outside of belise city at a dive site called seargents wall and seargents key.great diving 60 to 70 ft viz niiiiiccceee.you'll like the visibility because it doesn't create the anxioty of low viz situations and its easier to relax when concentrating on the beauty of the reef.good & safe diving to you & have a safe trip.

Try to get a couple dives in before you go to build your confidence. You'll enjoy yourself that much more!

Congratulations on your certification! Belize sounds wonderful. Would love to read a trip report on your experiences there when you return. Enjoy!
