This may sound strange but does anyone know how to adjust the length of the Velcro strap at the front of the BC (I think they are called cummerbund?) I bought a X-Small Genesis Athena BC last weekend from Leisure Pro. I remembered trying out the X-Small BC at the store and it fits me well, but when I got home, it looked as if the Velcro strap at the front of the new BC is too short for my waist. I have a 25-inch waist and I can only stick the Velcro halfway together. I am 5’3 tall, weigh 105 pounds. I looked at all the size guide and I should fit better into X-Small instead of a Small. So I am thinking (1) either the Velcro strap is adjustable length (2) I got a defective product. I think (1) is more likely than (2), but I have been toying the BC for an hour and I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the Velcro strap longer. Anybody who owns an Athena out there who can help me? Thanks in advance!

As a general response I have seen some where the cummerbund segments had multiple anchor points. By moving the anchor you could change the overall size. Any extra holes under them that would allow them to come forward? Some brands also offer extensions.

Defective or wrongly tagged (still defective) is not out of the qestion, it just happened to me with a Bare item. The supplier would not believe me until we measured and compared over the phone.
