Whilst I haven't used that specific X-Deep inflator, I've used apeks and scubapro ones. The AliExpress one seems to be at least as good, and to be honest I prefer it to both of them (I replaced the scubapro one with it). It seems incredibly sturdy and well built. I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference side by side.
Thank you! I will gie it a shot!

For an item like this, i would strongly recommend buying from a reputable scuba supplier. The difference in grades of polymers are subtle and may not be evident until it has had some UV exposure.

You don't want an inflator becoming brittle and snapping at the worst moment.

Don't chase a dollar (or pound in this case) to the bottom of the ocean.

Think I will use it as a temporary fix while I financially recover from buying all the gear :)

Anyone heard the

reputable scuba supplier

that this guy is talking about theme song

As opposed to all the other reputable scuba suppliers that he is not talking about
that sell exactly the same dive stuff manufactured in the same reputable factories

at reasonable prices, so we can still, afford to dive, and buy more stuff from them

Just noticed these are a lot cheaper on Dive Gear Express:

Or this one

I will need to measure my hose

EDIT: Their UK delivery is absolutely extortionate so I would stick to eBay
Don't overlook your local dive shop. They might have them in stock for a reasonable price and you won't have to wait for delivery.

The Aliexpress one works fine.

Where do you think DGX gets their stuff ?
Maybe the same. The difference is that DGX/LDS etc doesn't want a liability lawsuit. The Aliexpress guy doesn"t give a ****. Save a dollar or two and see what happens.

I’m happy to take that risk for myself. I service all my own gear. I test each item I purchase. Leave it on an inflated BCD for a couple of weeks. If it leaks, return it.

Quality control for Chinese manufactured products sold by US retailers will be done by the Chinese manufacturer too. I’m only cutting out the middle men with the biggest markups.

You don’t always get what you pay for. Often price bears no relationship to quality of the product. One thing though is always true: the higher the advertising budget, the higher the price. And the advertising spend is money not spent on improving the quality of the product.

YMMV

So maybe the same cool, my at least half a dozen ALI wings, inflators are the same

So we agree that's great!

And despite your post being contradictory, and some mess, do you read them, first
I'll bet when dead from inflator implosion I'll get more money from ALIEX than DGX
