Hi there

I'm fairly new to scuba diving, I just passed my Ocean Diver qualification two days ago, and I already started gathering some clutter important pieces of equipment.

I bought a Scubapro Glide 1000 BCD for very cheap cheap, and it's in a brand new condition apart from the power inflator which seems to be leaking air (there seems to be a crack in the plastic mold seam). I went on a bit of a hunt to try and fix this and maybe not breaking the bank. I saw this fellow on eBay selling a used Mares power inflator for £20, but because it's a different brand I'm not sure if it's going to be a seamless fit.

I see these all over eBay for like 30 quid a pop.

What's your opinion on those? Worth a shot, or don't bother and go for a brand name.

Thanks
Dom

Just noticed these are a lot cheaper on Dive Gear Express:

Or this one

I will need to measure my hose

EDIT: Their UK delivery is absolutely extortionate so I would stick to eBay

Brand name from a UK diving shop.

Brand name from a UK diving shop.

Do you think there would be any difference between the generic ebay/aliexpress one and the XDeep one?

Whilst I haven't used that specific X-Deep inflator, I've used apeks and scubapro ones. The AliExpress one seems to be at least as good, and to be honest I prefer it to both of them (I replaced the scubapro one with it). It seems incredibly sturdy and well built. I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference side by side.
