PS: Why do you wear tanks? Don't you have lungs?

We’ve offered the option of the cheap kids snow sled. That may very well handle your stuff. But you’re still going to have to pull it across pavement until you hit the sand. You don’t want to take your wheeled cart. Making something from scratch seems a bit much. There is also the the option of reducing the weight you have to schlep.
 
Crazy idea: is there a way to put wheels on the scooter? And just leave them on? Not the most streamlined setup, maybe some entanglement risk, but maybe there are ways to mitigate that? Disclaimer: I am not a DPV diver, so I might be totally off-base here.
