gc in 2 weeks

Headed down to gc in 2 weeks was wondering what kind of critters i might see?

I'll be there in 5 weeks, you'll probably be finished with your holiday but if you report here it'll keep my spirit flying.

In a week of diving we saw: Stingrays (obviously), Eagle Rays twice, several big Moray Eels, a couple schools of Tarpon. Lots of coral reef fish - a few large Puffers and lots of big Angelfish and Parrotfish. Some big Triggers. Turtles near the Turtle Farm seemed like a given. Tiny almost fluorescent red/blue cleaner shrimp - the DM's know where the cleaning stations are - there was one at the Aquarium divesite. We never saw a shark but others said they often did along the North wall. Anytime someone found a juvenile spotted drum it was big news - not sure why. Schools of French Grunts/Yellow Snapper just about everywhere.

Oh and huge sponges. This one was about 4-5' across. At Hepps Wall.

I saw a fine 12' Great Hammerhead on the N Wall yesterday, in 200' viz ... Best conditions I have seen for a long time.

You're killing me. Envy is a painful affliction. Especially as I sit here in downtown Atlanta watching the snow and rain fall.

Eden Rock and Devils Grotto were great and Eden Rock dive op were great people.
water was 81 vis was about 80 ft on thurs. when we were there saw lots of taurpon and snapper
great dives for a couple of beginers thanks to all who gave advice on where to go!!
